New guy.

Welcome! This is a great forum, and I hope you stick around.

You may be able to use the photo icon (the one with the mountains) to upload. Not sure if you need a membership for it, though. Also, "Upload a File" is directly above the 567 on your screen..

I'm not sure all work the same but if you're using Flickr copy the BB code. Click "reply" and at the top right corner is the icon for insert image. Click it and paste the BB code.

Probably so. My screen looks nothing like that thanks.
Any way John any chance you would have a photo? The knife is a spear point with saw teeth on the spine orange g10 handle and a fire steel striker on the rear with a partially exposed tang. It's overall length is about 10 inches.

I remember that one now that I see it. It's a one of a kind, and has G10 handles that I no longer offer.

Very awesome knife! My buddy I bought it from said he designed it and you made it for him. Do you still do that kind of thing?

Yes I do. I keep thinking the guy I made it for was a barber, maybe in Oklahoma?

Yes. In Oklahoma. He's not a barber anymore I'm not sure what happened there but now he can't seem to hold down any kind of job. I hate that for him really a good guy.

Welcome to the JK forum Wild Pagan.:)

That's one of the things we love about JKs..you can have your own design made or modify an existing design to fit your needs/desires.
And you can count on your JK to stand up to some serious hard use and last a lifetime doing it.

Thanks for the welcome. I agree on all that. I'm not sure what kind of steel that knife is made of but man I have beat the hell out of it and it doesn't seem to hurt it and it sharpens up nicely too.

Scouts for life! Very cool to see the tradition keep going down to the next generation. You won't regret the membership when you're spending time on the exchange. Your bank account may not appreciate your decisions though!

Nice picture of you and your son. I only had daughters, but they all carried knives growing up, one has a fantastic collection of old model Benchmades.
As for steel on your knife, it's O1, about 90% of mine are.

Girls are awesome too. I have two daughters as well. They both love the outdoors.
