Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. I think this knife thing is going to hang on. I got a new dresser last weeked, one with a felt lined jewelry drawer on top. Since I don't really have much in the way of jewelry beyond a couple of watches, class & wedding rings, a couple pr. of cufflinks (most of which stay in a carved wooden box anyway), the wife says, you have some nice knives, why don't you put them in there

. so I did, and it was tehfirst time she had seen them all (about 10) at once. I don't know if that was such a bright idea, as it'll be hard to do the "that's not new, honey, it's been in the drawer for months/years' routine. I had been keeping them in the gun locker under lock & key, and she didn't know what I had (still doesn't know all the pistols by sight
