New Here Advice appreciated

gotcha.

do some of those same places myself sometimes. due to work, property I own that has to be checked on and family.

if ya dont mind a budget option.....look into mistwalkers schrade 42s. 1095 and a coating that doesnt come off easily or at all. depending what you are cutting. ffg and thick but still slicey tip. he did a post here on how it came to be. it's a great tale of hard living in the south and knife needs and the design.

Thanks for putting me on to that read. Very interesting story.

In doing some searching I came across a TBS Boar which kind of fits the profile I was looking for amd is under my budget. It is offered in :
  • K720 Carbon Tool Steel
  • OR:
  • N695 Stainless Steel
Does anyone have any experience with the knife or blade materials that can give me some insight? Thanks
