New in town

I've had the Ganzo g707 for a little bit and had time to get acquainted with it. I still really like this knife and I appreciate the weight it has. I have but one complaint. I saw that one of the tiny torx screws that holds the pocket clip on was not tightened down all the way. I got the correct size torx bit and tried to tighten it up and the head stripped out like it was made out of marshmallow fluff. Turns out the threads of the screw weren't even cut right. But seriously, wtf are these screws made out of? I did some looking using google and it looks like I'm not the only person who's had issues with the screws. Is there somewhere I could buy replacements?

Well, you bought a dirt cheap knife from a company that counterfeits knives made by other companies. Who knows what steel they used for the screws probably unhardended mild steel or some such.

Want better quality? Better customer service? Don't support cheap counterfeiters. Buy from reputable companies.

Maybe from a company that makes counterfeit Ganzo screws. :D

Like shinyedges said, and like I said earlier on...you buy from a less-than-reputable company, and you get what you get. Hardly startling outcome.

Once again, you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for quality knives made by respected makers.
