New Item Delivery Dates and Information

ok so who does this interest other than me? Thomas mentioned something about kershaw working on a s30v Offset (i think that it was s30v). i just thought, "hey, what if kershaw did this new Offset with a composit blade? like a D2/ZDP-189 S30V combo?" I have no idea on how that would work with the MIM process, but maybe it could be done at a later date when the tech is there if it isnt now. it would be like having a custom KO without it being custom. just an idea for ya Thomas

First off, Happy Fourth of July! Enjoy some fireworks for me.

Second, what knife is next in Priority (please say Random Leek)? Could we get some updates?

1. Random Leek
2. Damascus Leek
3. Black & Gold Leek
4. How are the Tyrade, Shallot and RAM coming along?
5. Any new info regarding the Inferno?

Knifecenter has the Random Leek in stock, according to their website.
And the e-newsletter I received from them yesterday.

I spoke to Jason at KnifeCenter and he said he has a stack of the Random Leek. I made him take it out of the box and describe it to me. For the record: the Random Leek is IN-STOCK at the link in the next thread. Sorry ya'll but I was mistaken, I thought I remebered Thomas telling me the RLs had not left yet. GOOD NEWS for us though!!! Thanks rifon and Colog for setting me straight!

My wife was right, I DONT know everything! :D
 
Serrated Random Leeks are in Stock. See post #45 for my humble apology. Thomas meant that the Plain Edge Random Leeks had not been shipped. Forgive my temporary lack of Omniscience. Happy Fifth of July Ya'll!
 
Yea the first shipments of RL's (1660TGRYST's) left late June. There is an RL OEM plain edge shipment (bead blasted blade and handle) that will hopefully be done this month.

Thomas, can you give any updates on question #4 ? I'm really interested in the RAM.
 
It seems the Tyrade will be out just about when I retire... (11/2/07) I can see a good chance of getting one as a retirement gift even if I have to pay for it!

Keep the updates on these coming as I have saved enough for "my" damascus leek already....
 
Well, I see a Shallot and RAM in my future at the least. Thank you for the info on these, now I can plan how poor I will be and when! :D


New to this forum, but I carry a Kershaw every day and am looking to expand the collection, these will work nicely!

Is there anyway we could see a picture of the bead blasted, plain edge RL's?
 
Thanks once again to Thomas and the folks at Kershaw for making affordable higher quality folders. I carry a JYDII everyday and it has not failed me yet. It is easy to keep razor sharp and for me the grip is perfect.

As long as Kershaw keeps moving in this direction I will be a loyal customer.
