My friend, who is a dealer said Blue Ridge has it listed as a new item, but NOT in stock.

I just received an email from 888knivesrus--I had asked whether they could do a serration on the inner curve: "Unfortunately the recurve on that knive is too much for me to add a serration to." So....I will follow up on the Blue Ridge lead. Thanks,

Follow-up: Blue Ridge is a wholesaler so I can't get any information off their site. Since you say it's listed as out of stock, I think I will go ahead and order the plain version from 888. If it does appear later, I can always put this one back on ebay (unless I find I really do like it as it is). Thanks, everyone...

hey there Thomas,

Quick question. I've been out of the loop for awhile and now I am in the market for a new knife.......er Kershaw, but I've no idea what's really out there what's new or has new options. This got me thinking that it would be great if the Kershaw site had a What's New category search field.

Maybe even by dates. It could also include inhancements to pre-exsisting designs so that we maybe able to see in what ways our favorites are being dressed up.

What do you think?

Hate to sound like a broken record, but any word on that ZDP JYD II? I keep thinking about it every time I'm about to buy some other knife.

ZDP is short for ZDP-189, a very high end powdered steel from Hitachi Metals.

SG2 I believe is short for Super Gold 2 (listed as Super G2), another high end powdered steel, but from Takefu Special Steel.

JYD II is short for Junkyard Dog II a knife designed by Tim Galyean.

Well mike, just for you I stopped production in a few certain area's, and pushed the dam Leeks to the front. They are in QC now, and will hopefully be shipping next week.
