After SHOT there was a pic posted up as an Izula handle / BK11 blade design. Real? Available? would like one if so...

If I remember correctly, it will be named the "Becker Brat," and like gundude said, it should be out shortly. Who knows what can happen when Jeff and Ethan get together? Could other things be forthcoming? Nah, probably not...

The guy on the forums came up with the design, check out Kabars forum section under manufacturers forum and he made a new post of stuff Ethan Becker sent him for coming up with the design.

I have the BK-11 I got it cause of the bottle opener. I do plan on getting the BK-14 so I can do some better wrap work. And will the Izula micarta scales work on the BK-14?

Yeah that would have been better. The Becker handle (w/ bottle opener) and the slimmer, flat-ground Izula blade would have taken the best of both knives and made a little more sense.

Personally, I don't see the point of the hybrid. It's just a Becker Necker with a worse handle IMO. :jerkit:

The Necker handle is kind of not so comfy for me, but I love the shape of its blade. I think if a bottle opener were incorporated (maybe as a second SKU if the hybrid does well?) would be a HEST-styled one on the spine of the blade.
