Yeah that would have been better. The Becker handle (w/ bottle opener) and the slimmer, flat-ground Izula blade would have taken the best of both knives and made a little more sense.
Personally, I don't see the point of the hybrid. It's just a Becker Necker with a worse handle IMO. :jerkit:
i personally like each one being separate. not really looking forward to it. will i buy one? yeah. but its not going to rival my collections of 4 izzies and 2 bk-11s. sorry guys but it just doesnt get my jeans tight. i can carry my becker if i need that blade shape. and i sold my swamprat after getting the izula. for me both knives[the necker and the izula] are perfect the way they are.

My point exactly. I like both the way they are. The hybrid idea is kind of - meh, whatever. I won't be buying one but, hey, as the saying goes, "different strokes..."
