Just received this today. It's well made with the typical Kershaw F/F and came sharp enough, after 10 cycles the AO is smoothing out. The high hollow grind over both edges makes this a nice slicer, these are well worth the asking price.

I am sincerely hoping to get mine on Monday. I haven't been given any tracking info or anything, so I'm just kind of hoping it'll show.

The guy is a fast shipper, USPS was fast too...Eugene OR to Pittsburgh PA in 2 1/2 days.

Mine just went through the city's main USPS sorting facility... It hasn't been marked as "out for delivery" yet. It's so close now...

Did you guys get an email, or what? How did you get shipping info?

Good question! I don't know how that works, as this is my first transaction with Dave. We've gone back and forth several times before, though.

ETA: I'm such a douche. I use 2 email addresses and forgot to check the other one. Paypal did in fact contact me with the shipping info. It's already in Texas!

I went and looked in my Paypal and see a tracking update myself. Alright, good deal. Now I know to just check my Paypal account when ordering from Kershawguy in the future!

Mine came in today! The plain edge tanto blade on the Blur (about time!) looks great, as does the heavy stonewash finish.

But... I couldn't leave well enough alone... so... ... ... FrankenBlur! If I got the nomenclature right, this would be the 1670TBG (Tanto, Black/Green Smoke)

Sadly I had to make choice due to founds this week....the new blur or 1760CKT skyline for my collection. I went with Skyline to make 11 models for me now. Hoping to get this blur next week now

That is so bad@$$!!! I love the green smoke color but couldn't get down with the serrations. Now that is one hell of a Blur!

I was planning to do a FrankenBlur with the smoke green handles. I was debating between a S30V or CPM-154 blade, but just didn't get to it. Then around comes this stonewashed plain-edge tanto one... As soon as I saw it, I knew I'd need to get it in a pair of smoke green scales. ;)

Anybody have experience sharpening kershaw's BDZ-1 ? will it be difficult with the sharp maker?

It's not S110V if that is what you are wondering, it's similar to 14C28N in sharpening. So you can knock it out on the Sharpmaker without spending hours at it.
