New Kershaws 2017!

The CQC-10 and the Natrix are probably going to end up in my hands at some point.

It's hard for me to look at the Dividend and not think of the Medford Viper.

It didn't say it in the description on the launch 7 but is it the exact same plunger lock that has tons of problems not locking up and bouncing back. It just says push button open...wonder if they refined it for that model after all the complaints...I really wanted to try out cpm154 and I like the look of some of the launches but passed after reading about all the issues.

I have to disagree yet again on this " tons of problems" thing. It's been discussed plenty so I'm not going good to rehash it as this isn't the thread for it but no in all reality they don't have "tons" of problems.

Some context for those wondering: There were a few people who expressed concerns and said they had a problem with theirs and there were the rest like myself who had no problems what so ever. The problem stems from holding the release button too long.

Bottom line, I won't hesitate using my launches or purchasing more. They are great American made knives at a great price point for everything going you get.

I look forward to the Galyean designed Launch 7.

I just ordered the Dividend from Kershawguy! Watched a couple videos on it and looks like the Dividend will be a great edc for me. Was very excited to see that Kershawguy had them in stock. FRN version for me as I like lightweight. :)

Just a quick update!

My Dividend came in this morning (thanks Kershawguy.com, I ordered fri morning and it was in my mailbox mon morning, excellent service!) and I am very impressed! Perfect size for me, excellent all around fit and finish, hair poppin sharp, and looks great. I am not a big fan of assisted knives in general, but Kershaw did it just right on this one- not too hard and just the right speed. I took a comparison pic with the Kabar Dozier that is (maybe was) my favorite edc knife. It would be hard not to say that this knife is a mini Link 1776, but I think it has surpassed it's big brother. Highly recommend the Dividend!

Excited about the CF Leek for sure...

Gave my Leek to my sister-in-law a few months ago and have been missing it ever since.

It's the first knife I've ever purchased without any forum or YT reviews helping me decide.

Hope it works out!

Already paid for my pre-order at the site where I purchased it (not sure if links are cool here or not) so now the agonizing wait begins!

that isnt true. it isnt from holding the button too long. its a kershaw problem. they had the same issue with the rogue and this isnt their first issue with lock bounce problems. i have many launches. a few have it a few dont. one 5 didnt develop it until many uses and firing and year plus later. these arent my first autos or plunge locks. been collecting brands and types for a long time. using them daily as well for many years. it is a kershaw issue right now and they know it. hopefully they get it solved which they havent in past auto releases.

you can hold down a protech or benchmade button and the blade ends up in the right place and when you let go it locks properly. this is not a user issue this is a design issue.

Just got my Dividend today. Aluminum version is super thin and still very light. This thing disappears in my pocket. I removed the assist spring, and now this thing is a smooth, light and inexpensive EDC.

Just wanted to add... DEEP POCKET CLIP that I just installed on the Dividend!

What Kershaw did that clip come off?

I'm hesitant to de-assist mine but probably will end up doing it.

I'm not sure actually... I think one of the LE Links has the same one though. It definetly makes the Dividend nicer to carry and it feels about the same in hand as stock.

I tried to de assist my Dividend and there was no detent without the torsion bar installed. I wonder if the aluminum version is different, but that seems odd...
