It's a beauty of a knife. So easy to use one handed, it's unreal. It's also the best fidget toy in the world! Thanks for the comment and glad you are loving it.
I use it to help stay awake covering three states. Its been flipped I dont know how many times. With no change in the action.

I think you’re due another fixed blade.

How about a 5160 639 in a Brahma handle with a 75th anniversary stamp? Perhaps a black powder coated blade even...

I know... the handle is a little disproportionate, but you get the idea...

This was post 1,001! Hope it doesn’t go to waste like the 1,000 before it! :)

Since you brought 300s up. Nice old style jigged bone 301 or 303 with clip,' warcliff ' and pen blades.
Whatever steel strikes your fancy but not costly or you will run folks off from buying a nice pocket knife that will be carried a lot.
I like nice knives but I don't carry $200 knives every day. An expensive knife to me is for collection, fancy dress or Sunday carry. 300

(My wife isn't looking so fancy dress to me is ironed jeans and a shirt without stains.)

Interesting responses. I feel I cannot be part of the giveaway but would like to comment.
I have several custom small vantages. I like them for a EDC clip carry knife. I would like to see a nice colored jigged bone model.
I have a photo of what I consider poor color and will dig it out (post 'Bucket' issues for the others) and eventually will find two wood slabs and a stag model. I tried making one with poor color jigged bone and never quite could get it adjusted. I do not like them to rub, but have had no trouble from off center blades or locks that were not centered as long as they were completely inside the tang edge. The thick blade is strong but can cause some slicing issues, such as cutting thick rubber garden hose. I will provide photos here eventually. They look good but the stag is heavy. I usually carry a diamondwood. I started running around with Vantages because they clip deep in the pocket. Jigged bone would be my grail Vantage. 300

This is the poor color self mangler effort I don't like the red on.

This is my favorite production Diamondwood version, I hand picked at a big knife shop in SE MO.

Man I love the elk handled Vantages I would love to know where I could get one. I have been EDC the same diamond wood Vantage as above for almost ten years both on duty and off.

A 302 or 303 (or even a 301) with a good steel upgrade and nice scales would get my vote. I could care less for another liner lock.

A 300 series, as above with S35VN or CTS-XHP would knock it out of the park and micarta scales in a nice ivory or real black ebony wood.

Well, traditionals are really hip and upcoming again these days, so if you feel like you ever want to do one of those, now might be a good time. (But take my advice for what it's worth, I'm not investing my money in these runs).

Damn, I see so many great knives (and related products). In my mind, my next paycheck is already spent. (And the next five after that as well...)

My most used Buck is probably my BG42 301 because it's on my desk and it props up my phone at a perfect angle. I carry mine when I want a small classy Buck in my pocket. I used to keep a 111 my desk but found the 301 works just fine for every day tasks.

SK asked this thread be deleted and we go to new opinion thread of Nov. 13. Its still good reading so will just lock it. Go vote on the other thread.....300
