New Knife Guy- Recommended something please??

Check out a Techno. This little knife continues to impress me. I find myself taking this as my EDC more often than any other lately. Fantastic build quality, silky smooth operation and a rock solid lock-up.

I think that is a fantastic choice. :thumbup:

There have been many good suggestions in this thread. I would recommend going with the ZT if that is what catches your eye at the moment. There is plenty of time to explore other brands and styles as your collection developes. I would agree with those who recommend checking out Emerson, and traditionals, when you get around to it.
 
I recently bought quite a number of knives, and a couple of Spyderco and Cold Steel are making their way over as we speak. But yesterday I got myself a Hogue EX-04 4" Upswept blade in blue G-Mascus, and that knife is in my opinion, as practical as much as it is eye candy in an artsy-fartsy way.
