New knives advise!

As I said an uncoated blade isn't a problem. I want an uncoated blade! I prefer an uncoated blade!

Preferences are there for a reason, gotta be happy with "YOUR" knife, but you definitely want quality, so its a good thing coatings can be stripped, and even grinds can be re-ground... Much better to buy a quality steel that you like the foundation, (shape, style, etc) and with a couple real basic modifications have it fully suit your preferences rather then buy a chinsy steel that happens to meet all your requirements right out the box, but crap or questionable steel is still just that...

I seriously doubt that. They are there for a reason and that (reason) isn't just getting voted from Greek people. Let's hope I am not wrong! :P

Wise words. If I have to mod something then probably I will buy a Esee 3+6 pair.
