Someobyd have idea how to make a good sharpening kit for belt grinder KMG type ?

I starting making 3 prototypes of my design folders (2x Flipper liner/frame lock , 1x lockback).

Did anyone used Nylatron GS + Silica Nitride ceramic balls combination as a bearings?

Also thinking about to use 4H13 ( Bohler M310 Isoplast / ~420) for liners / linerlock.

And now I thinking about to buy Makita 2107F portaband for cutting metal, instead of using angle grinder with SWAG v.3 type of table :)
Good choice or better will be to use classical type of bandsaw for metal and made propper table for this ?
Like DEDRA DED7723:

From some time I was working on designs of my 3 folder knives :)

To speed up prototyping ( to make with tools what I have) I redesign one knife lock from internal stop pin to classical stop pin out of the blade.

Nice thing happened that one piece of M390 4,3mm steel that probably was to be throw out, can be used for 2 blades of Asbolus small line lock folder :)

Steel will be surface grinded do 3mm after HT. Then I put bevels on knife ;)
- Lock and liner will be from 1,5mm Titanium 6Al4V :)
- scales from 3,5mm black G10 (maybe I get another color )
- spacer from brass with filework and patina ( and will be tapped to M2 screw Torx-6 :)
- pivot is with Snooper 2,5 "screw" type with M3 tapp, A2 steel H7 tolerance.
- Thinking about blade finish, 2 versions will be ( as 2 folders ;) ) : 1. Satin 2. Acid stonewash
- belt clip from 6,5mm black G10
- because this is not flipper ( internal version is with flipper ;) ) this will have only 0,25mm Nylatron GS washers ;)

What do you think about it guys ;) ?

And second knife on WIP stage. New design of Tactical Bushcraft knife (Design secured - hehe :P )
M390 4,3mm Steel and G10 handles probably with finish in Kiku Matsuda style :)

Hello,

hmmm...

I was thinking about to make some small passaround ong forum members.
Will be this a good idea ?

If you want to do a pass around post a new thread with "pass around" in the title. I'm sure you will a response.

Started working on 2 blades Gryphon, in slighty new way ;)

I think to put on them scales in style like on Sphinx.

One is already reserved :)

Both Gryphon's have bevels now :) (7,33 degree per side)

In monday they going to HT :)

And in monday I also get new Deerfoos Bora7 P40 belts, and then I will shape rest of knives.
Why all knives are not shaped by this all time?
Previous belts was wrong glued >.>, and now I waiting for replacement ( some technikal problem on belt making machine)

When they arrive I will get working with:
N690 4,5mm:
2x Gryphon
4x Sphinx
4x Grendel ( "tanto" blade for hard working)
2x Manticore

M390:
3x Sphinx

And how two Grendel's look now :)
khMIM6.jpg

By the time I will probably get new small horizontial grinder for 50x1220mm belts.
Flat plate with small wheels at one time, max speed 18m/s .
For satining and working with curves ;)
