Not exactly the word I was thinking of lolThread crapper. That's the term.
I like my knives. Shoot me.
Nothing to say about the legitimate grievances you dismissed? Not exactly the word I was thinking of lol
You made your point. What else to you need? The last word?Nothing to say about the legitimate grievances you dismissed?
If you don't care what Mike Stewart has done and just like the knives why does it bother you when these facts are brought up?
Like I said, YOU are the first person to bring this up in this thread. New people may not know the history and may actually care to know.
Leave me alone please. I am not going to argue with you. You win. 10 points to Slytherin.Nothing to say about the legitimate grievances you dismissed?

By YOU LOLWell there we go, another Bark River derailed.
I don't care about something that happened years ago. Especially when it results in a pig pile of crap from people were not even involved.

Agreed, the condescending tone of post #10 in this thread needed to be addressed. Dismissing everyone with legitimate grievances and labeling them "haters" is disingenuous. I don't normally even bring up this stuff about brk but the mocking of people who speak up, ain't flying around here.Totally agree. We as a relatively small community have the obligation to share our truths, and to try to raise the bar when it comes to all-things-knives. We may not fix all the issues, but we just may prevent someone else from stepping into a big pile of steaming crap.
Nice knives. That North Country is a beauty. Can you post a picture of the liners? These two came in the mail today. They are a Bark River UP Bravo and a Bark River North Country EDC. The UP Bravo has black burlap micarta scales, brass pins, white spacers and a 4.6 inch A2 blade.
The North Country EDC has what they call red pinecone scales, forest green spacers, mosaic pins, and 3.5 inch CPM-154 blade. It's hard to capture how nice the scales look in a pic. Both knives are very sharp. The sheaths are well made and rely on a friction fit and a deep fit.
I am once again very impressed with the quality of Bark River knives. And they sure do know how to make a comfortable handle. Very well designed and fits my hand perfectly with a nice coke bottle shaped palm swell.
These will be put to the test this year on many outings.

They are a dark green. They call it "Forest Green". They don't really "pop" as far as color goes, but they make a subtle transition from the bright steel to the red scales.Nice knives. That North Country is a beauty. Can you post a picture of the liners?
