After seeing Christof's submission to the WSS Machete contest, I decided I had to have him make me one. So I contacted him, and some weeks later, I have it in my hands.

I asked him to make it identical to the machete he made for the contest and he did so, but suggested a slightly shorter length. End result is 14.5" of hair popping 1/8" 1080 steel with a burlap micarta handle. The blade is perfectly balanced, and handles extremely well. I can't wait to get it out in the woods to put it through the paces.

Christof's service was phenomonal, and the end product far exceeds my high expectations. I can't recommend Koyote knives highly enough.

I'll post a user review later, but for now, here's some pics:

Here's a picture of it riding where I bought it to ride; on my Mystery Ranch long bow pack.

Holy smokes  that machete looks amazing ... I've come to expect no less from Christof :)

Sweet photos!

Don't forget a bit of plumbers tape or something on the screw threads when you get a set up you like on the belt hanger (but you don't need the belt hanger for the pack :D )

I did make a slight modification in the tip profile, I think it works out pretty decently.

Not that I care but what is the price? and how long is the wait because I think instead of a new rifle I want one of those. But seriously if anyone could direct on where to order one of those I would be greatly appreciative. That is just a beautiful blade

not sure on the price but you can pm the above poster as he is the maker

Wow! Christof that thing looks awesome!! That thickness should make it a very sturdy blade, and I love the sheaths on your larger blades.

I really like the handle. It is small enough to allow it to rock in your hand as it should when chopping and long enough to use the end for a power blow or choke up for more precise work.
