New KSF Benchmade Exclusive...

I believe this is one of those Benchmade unlimited limited runs (their term) where within a year they'll produce as many as the exclusive dealer places orders for past the minimum pieces.

These are slick - very, very nicely done. The CF on mine is just about perfect, no voids or chips and looks great - BM really took their time with the machining and got it right. Blade grinds are all even, too. I'll have to use it a bit before I make up my mind on the Axis Stryker design (this is my first one), but just from the initial impression this thing is just really well put together.

This is exactly the kind of quality that I'd expect on an upper-end production knife from BM; huge kudos to them and thanks to Derrick as well!

Yeah I've found that BM does carbon fiber exceedingly well... quality materials, excellent design and milling, and finished perfectly.

Good the markings on the others is freaking fugly.

This knife presents quite the dilemma for me. I really love the Stryker! Both the original 910 that I carried for years and the new axis versions. However, the price is just too high for me right now.

I really hope KSF considers dropping the price a bit at some point. I'd seriously consider getting one then.

Congrat's to those that have one. Beautiful knife indeed!

Oh dang those pictures just make me want one even more. I guess I could dump my last two ZT's on the market. The 0452 is nice and all, but this would be legal to carry and all that.

I feel the same way, one of my most carried and beloved Benchmades. The price is a bit too steep for me though.

How thick are the handle . I'm not crazy about the carbon fiber over steel . I will like to see them do more insert .makes the knife much thinner and nicer .

It also makes the knife more expensive to produce. Nested liners are nice, but exposed liners are a bit more practical for cost saving as well as they give the knife a much stronger (arguably) handle to the very edge from one side to the other.

Personally I don't mind having exposed liners on some knives. It gives a different look. I actually like that some of the aftermarket scale makers offer various colors of liners, because I like the contrast, but they are lighter because they aren't steel.

Yep. Just think what the price might be on this one if they used nested liners

Pulled out my old school vernier scale calipers and checked... 15/32". Works out to ~.47", which is what the regular 908 is listed as. So no difference from the regular version there.

M4 in black in a 710? Nice! What vintage is that?

Its actually a grey, It may just be the lighting but I think there were some black ones. I think the 710-3 is from '12 or '13

Here's a better pic of the color

Don't hold your breath.

Looking at these photos, this sure is a handsome knife. I probably won't be able to resist before they're all gone.

They did it once before that I recall, you never know.

I don't recall KSF reducing the price on of their own Benchmade exclusives at any time. KSF did reduce the price on the SHOT Show Rift some but eventually KW had a killer deal on them.
