New Lionsteel PM-2????

Well, I finally get the PM1.3 two months ago, after a year of waiting. It's very nice, other than still being a bit heavy, and a bit unbalanced, for the handle is much heavier than the blade. But I like it very much.

Because of the love for the PM1.3, I started searching for the PM2, which I wasn't interested at first. But I found it to be out of stock and discontinued everywhere by now. The search for the PM series had been very frustrating for me. I hope it gets renewed like the PM1.3, making a PM2.2 of sorts.

BTW, I found out Fox knives is manufacturing a PM3 for the Swiss police, and it'll be announced at the IWA show this weekend. Don't know why they switched to Fox knives, but maybe Lionsteel is just too busy.

Fox Knives PM-3:

http://www.polizeibedarf.ch/ (Google Translate):

World Premiere at the IWA 2015 FOX knives presented for the first time, developed at Polizeibedarf.ch police knives PM-3 before. It is a powerful compact folder with Backlock designed for tough everyday police work. It is a very sturdy knife. The series production will start soon. Polizeibedarf.ch by Victorinox is the only Swiss company that develops as standard military / police knife. The production is lack of manufacturing capacity in Switzerland in Italy. The knife is available in two variants once all in black and once in Desert Tan (Cerakote coating)

I'm not promoting the new PM-3, which is not made by LionSteel, but what shocked me is: Polizeibedarf.ch police knives, including the PM-1 & PM-2, were a part or a subsidiary of Victorinox?????

Can't say anything about the function and quality of the Fox PM3, but just looking at the pics, the design of the LionSteel PM knives was much nicer. And the function and qualitiy was superb.

And NO, they had nothing to do with Victorinox

PM 4 made by Lionsteel will come early next Year. Currently the Prototypes are tested and some changes to the clip and scales to be done
