New Magnacut, stained after first use in kitchen

First i have no dog in this .... but my thoughts are it is very likely something to do with the level of the surface finishing
a fine (Higher finish level) is much harder to stain/discolor than a rougher finish... the Poster never in 7 pages said where the knife was from
maybe if whatever company/maker that built it did a little higher finish job on it he/she/they would have less complaints on the staining/discoloring...
again just my thoughts based on facts of smoother /finer finish makes it more resistant to surface problems...(but takes a little more effort)

yeah that was my offer to you, you seem to like magnacut.
I actually have a set of Buck kitchen knives in 420hc and paperstone handles. been using them for many, many years. theyre perfect for my kitchen needs. so I do like magnacut, but no thanks to your offer......

I have stonewash blades that don't stain like this, powdercoat too.

There's nothing rough about the satin finish, and this magnacut staining problem isn't unique to my knife anyway.

K knifeism At this point, what do you hope to get out of this back and forth? I hope you get what you're after, but verbal jousting isn't going to fix your knife situation. You seem to have an IQ above room temp, so if you just need to blow off steam after the deflated expectations, you'll find the peanut gallery can go for days sniping back and forth.

Go to the maker/manufacturer for satisfaction, or maybe get a blowup doll to take out your frustrations on while avoiding legal ramifications. I have a fine selection on my website, and they ship from the U.S., so no unwanted delays. Use the discount code Performance Anxiety for free shipping.

If you want to really unload on me, you're missing out on the thread in W&C. I know you can do better, I'll give you the opportunity very soon. Be forewarned, some of the competition there won't help with your adequacy issues.

Best of luck on the knife.
