Okay, I have mine in hand...#133. The serial # is laser-etched right under the thumb disc. This is a great feeling knife! Although there is no Wave on this knife, I found out (rather inadvertently) that it will OPEN as if it DOES have a Wave! Smartly drawing the knife from my pocket in the motion I would with my Commander or Waved -7 will deploy the blade fully. After closer examination, I can see that the thumb disc catches on my pocket and pops the blade open like The Wave. Very cool!
Fit and finish are superb, and what I've come to expect from Emerson. The Black-T blade (the only blade coating available) measures right at 4" in length. Comparing it with my prodo CQC-7's, the blade seems to drop along the same lines as the -7's "spine grind". The liners are thicker, being about the same thickness as my '99 Commander. The finger cut-out on the handle is very Commander-esque as well (John, you'll like this one!
) There are nice, big serrations on the handle and liners for positive purchase, both fore-top and aft-bottom, ala Mach 1.
The ONLY thing I don't like is the pocket clip:
- It is NOT reversible for tip-down carry (which I don't do, but it's nice to have the option);
- It leaves too much of the handle peeking out of my pocket, which was the reason I got rid of my Specwar, and the ONLY reason I haven't bought an SOCFK.
So, there you have it Suspects! I hope to hear from more of you as these babies start rollin' in. Other than the pocket clip, I really like this one! Not as much as my Commanders or Waved CQC-7, but it's up there! I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday.

Post Script: I checked the box for the model name of this knife, and it says this:

EMERSON TANTO BTS
I & I LOGO SERIAL# 133

So I guess its called the "Emerson Tanto"...
