Mark Williams has let us know that he's going to be stepping down as a mod due to time constraints.

With that, I've asked the moderators for suggestions for replacements for this section of the site.

Thus far, they've suggested:

Stacy Apelt (bladsmth)

Dan Gray

Kevin Cashen

and Bobby Branton

I'd like to open the floor to additional nominations and give those guys nominated a chance to say yea or nay...

I don't reckon I'll quit posting...someone's got to keep y'all in line..... and tweak some noses at times.

Quote from Will Leavitt Sounds almost like he's volunteering.

Ooooohhh...now that's a good one!

I’ll go along with Stacy. :)

Kevin does too much name calling and seems a bit too opinionated to make a good moderator, in my opinion.

Stacy has calmed the flames more than a few times. I vote for Stacy(bladsmth).

Looks like the fix is in, and Stacy is a fine choice.

I just have to second the vote for IG. He has an excellent sense of where the line is and is respected for his knowledge, his outgoing personality and his constant willingness to help. His relish also stands him in good stead for those times when the heat is on - as I suspect it often is for a mod.

Rob!

I think the idea of one bladesmith and one stock reductionist would work well.

How about Stacy and Nathan? :)

I.G. should be,... "super moderator"! :D

I think Stacy would be an excellent choice for moderator. He's kinda moderating to some degree anyway and doing a good job.
