New Moderator(s) for the KnifeMaker's forums

Stacy and Nathan sound like good choices to me.

And very big thanks to Mark for all the years he's done it so well.

I think Stacy would be an excellent choice for moderator. He's kinda moderating to some degree anyway and doing a good job.

There are several men mentioned here who are more than qualified, but if I had to vote for only one, Stacy is the man for the job. His knowledge, tact, and wealth of experience have been a boon to this forum for a long time.

If I get to choose two, I also recommend Nathan for his similar professionalism, willingness to help new guys, and certainly his understanding of stock-removal and heat-treating.

i second all that,,,,,,

I’ll go along with Stacy. :)

Kevin does too much name calling and seems a bit too opinionated to make a good moderator, in my opinion.

I wonder if Tai would be so opinionated in a face to face ?

No, I'm not in the running here...

If anyone thinks I would be a good moderator for this forum, I officially swing my vote to Nathan and Stacy. :)

I've had numerous private conversations with Nathan,... for whatever it's worth, I think he really knows his stuff and has his head on straight. I think he would have a very positive effect on this forum. :)

Now that I've had time to give this a little more thought,... How about I.G. and Nathan? :)

I present to you I.G.,... "The Knife God"!

LOL, I wonder the same thing;)

Even worse my friend. LOL

In person, you’d be too intimidated by my physical presents and aura to do or say anything.

I'm on my good behavior here,... just being humble and polite. :D

Are we missing something here? A mod doesn't have to know anything about knives at all really, although he should know that hypereutectoid is not a racial slur. A mod needs to be a "people person" who can choose between;

  • You've crossed the line and you are banned - or
  • Please review the rules found at XXX.XXX and edit your last post accordingly.
This board abounds with knowledgeable "knife gods". What we need is the totally unrelated skills of a forum moderator. Once again - and this time with no punch line attached - I'd like to nominate IG.

Rob!
