New Neck Knife

mmmm larry sweat and potatoes:barf:
post some pics of it larry

Come on Mike, I'll alway wipe the sweat off on my tee shirt before I start cutting food  with it, Jeeeez

This knife I've been wearing every day at work, at play. The steel is band saw blade, pallet strap (high carbon) and some nickel. As I said earlier, every now and then I put some olive oil on it to help ward of oxidation.

Great looking little knife, Larry!

You going to be at Derrick's in July?

That's a mean looking little blade Mike!!!
Nice and small so it can be hidden in the hand and used for a super fast surprise attack!

Great looking little knife, Larry!

You going to be at Derrick's in July?

Thanks Matt,

Yes I'll be going to Derrick's. Not to mention my camping gear, I plan on putting a hammer, a set of tongs, and a piece of damascus billet into the saddle bags of my bike and riding up, weather permitting. It's a 277 mile ride from my house, I reckon it'll take me about 6 hours to ride.

See you there.

That's where having my truck has it's advantages, i'll have a hammer, tongs... propane tank, whisper baby forge, anvil and some bar stock in my truck, and maybe some tailgate sale blacksmithin' items.

Mike, how many lines per inch is that checkering file that you use?

Nice job Mikey. I like the lines and the size is nice for a necker. You considering adding handle slabs of some sort or sticking with the nekked version?
Ed

L6, yeah its a sweet little thing. i hope i have time tonight or tomorrow to finish up a sheath for it. thanks man

Ed: i'm planning on messing around with the materials.. do some nekked, do some dress tacticals with titanium bolsters and carbon fiber handles, then a supped up version with damascus, mokume and pearl or something.

who knows maybe even a nice talonite version....

all to come as soon as i sell the first one, and finish my damn HT oven:thumbup:
