Gaj/SPX, no luck on the Buck...long gone. Only chance is to pick up one on the secondary market, or perhaps a dealer that would just happen to have one on the shelf.

Mike, My mother recently bought a SOG Powerlock for my Dad for Christmas form you guys, but the sheath it came with was less than disirable(Not riveted even,etc)
Anything you guys can do? Do I need to email you guys with the order number?
 
SOG leather sheaths are "rustic" put kindly. If you like, we will contact SOG on your behalf to see if they will send you a better example. Email or call with your info.

Waffle....we contacted SOG. They said they would ship you a replacement sheath. Let me know when it comes.

That's quite fortuitous. What do you think about it? Also, have you played with any of the phoenixes? I've heard they have some QC issues, but they're quite beautiful.

AM...the Kukri is a different animal in the hand. Thin handle and sharp angle of the blade to the handle. Not bad feeling, but unusual.
While we have not had problems mentioned to us about the Phoenix, I don't have any in stock today to personall look at.

David...Latch is held with black screw. Both handles drilled, recessed and tapped.
Looks like it to me.
