New @ New Graham

It kinda of stung to here the results personally, there's been a few years that we would go half the season undefeated, then bam beavers. :D at least I can now feel safer walking into New Graham with some blue on.

It's a BIG rivalry. ESPN showed up to film few years back. Bluefield VA is a town of 5000. Bluefield WV is somewhat larger, but still small....The Graham-Beaver game draws 10,000 spectators yearly. Not bad for a small area.
As for the Blue, it was not my daughters favorite 'color', but you won't have to watch your back in the store ;)

None of our distributors had them separate. One said they would check on availability and get back to me. I'll let you know.

Hey Mike, (or Annie)...
Firstly, any update on the Kershaw Volt? Secondly, is Blade-Tech still in the knife business? Any idea when you'll see some more of the MLEK and PRO-HUNTER magnum knives (uncoated)...

Bad news here at NGK: Mike fell on his way to work on Monday and tore his petela ligament in his left knee and it required surgery to repair, so Mike is wearing a full leg cast and laid up at home for it looks like at the least 6 weeks or more maybe. We at the store will of course do everything we can to take care of our customers even with the big man being lazy and laying around the house, so feel free to continue with any questions we can answer.

If you would like to send Mike a card, or leave him a note here to say sorry or just make fun of him please feel free :)

I suspect you will see him back on here in the next few days but it will be from his house.

ohmyheckinslc,

No news on the Volts yet other than they were ordered on November 17th. I'm not sure at this time anything about Blade-Tech but I made a sticky note and put it on my monitor to call Mikey @ Blade-Tech tomorrow (Friday), so I will let you know more then.

Hope you recover quickly Mike. Also, compliments to all at New Graham for running a first rate business.

Get better soon Mike:) What a crappy time of year for something to happen, I hope you still thoroughly enjoy the holidays with family and friends.

Sorry to hear of your injury Mike. Hope you heal up fast and have a nice Christmas. Guess you can consider this my digital signing of your cast. ;)

Mike I hope you have a good excuse for falling. Like you were carrying your 50 deer hunting and tripped over sling or a giant buck or something like that. Keep your head up it is a crappy time to get hurt especially with all the snow on its way. At least you get out of shoveling all this crap. Get well and hope to make a trip down in a few weeks, don't worry I have been saving my Christmas money so I will have some to spend. Get better and stay sharp.

Ol Mike just needs to slip into the back door of that pharmacy and get some good meds for that patella ligament pain!

Get better, Mike! Hope that it does not hurt too much.

he has a great excuse, we are still waiting on it but I'm sure he has one!

Very sorry to hear about the fall. I hope Mr. Dye makes a quick recovery!

Now for my "heads up". I know they are not out yet, but I want one from NGK as soon as they hit the trucks to ship to dealers....The Becker Magnum Camp!

And NOW the BIG NEWS.........
Today the Brown Santa Claus brought a production prototpe of the BK5 MAGNUM CAMP and it IS SO SWEET.......Those of you who have been eagerly anticipating the great (and ever so wonderful) Jerry Fisk's classic camp knife are gonna love this one......This is a graceful and beautifully balanced piece..... It FEELS graceful and it is VERY fast in the hand....This speed is almost a Fisk trademark and damned difficult to get right....The grinds are beautifully done.......It arrived too late to take it to the woods this evening, but the anticipation IS building for the morrow......A little rope, a sapling or two, maybe a coke can, and of course an onion or three......GOOD TIMES coming for certain.........

All Best....
