New Nylon Drop Loop

I thought the Velcro meant it could be detached quickly. I would consider that important so you don't have to undress to take the sheath off. That is one of the best potential benefits of these dangler style sheaths.

I like it a lot, and hope it will be an option to add on to existing sheaths too:thumbup:

I would love to see if the metal ring could be replaced with a tough composite plastic ring to reduce weight, and potential noise in future, but this is still a wonderful improvement.

This is how the final product looks before leaving the shop.

Should have these available soon.

Cool  :)

Where is the flag ? :)

For those that have asked to be able to purchase this dangler loop for existing sheaths, I have been working to accomidate the request. I am going to do some field tests to check how this holds up, but for my inital thought it is pretty tough.

It should be a week or so before I know for sure, here are the pictures of the UA (universal attachment).:D:D

Mine was in the mail today when I got home from work. Really cool. Not a lot of time to give it an in depth check out, but I am impressed.

Think you could make a similar universal mount for the regular drop loop with no dangler?

Yes, and I'm also in the process of standardizing the width of the connecting strip of kydex that holds the drop loop to the sheath. This would allow all the drop loops to be interchangable. Right now some of the widths are 2" and some are 1.25", all will soon go to 1.25".

Perfect. I'm all over the drop loop, but I don't want the metal ring right up against the handle of my knife. :)
