Thank you kindly ITE. I was gonna use these as steak knives, which I still will if I ever eat steak again, but it is no hardship to hand wash em like I already do for some pots and pans. It is the other kitchen potentates that worry me as most things in the kitchen seem to end up in the dishwasher at one time or another. I gotta count my blessings. It is good that I'm not the only one who cleans up. These should cut a T-bone straight off the barbeque up real nice. Yes, I bet they will. No email from the Buck Store yet. Stuff will probably show up on the stoop pretty soon.

Buck sent an email to me at 1:30am today that my order had shipped. You will still probably get yours well before mine shows up in Florida though.

I had placed my order on the evening of Nov 27th.
 
Got then tonight. Two axes, from Pro Site, and paper stone cap lifter from web special all in one UPS box to my door. Gonna be a great Christmas. Thank you Buck. Outstanding work.

Nice photo. I also used my Buck pro-site for two Buck XMAS knives and a few Buck (Hewlett Manufacturing Company) diamond sharpeners.:thumbup: You seem to like the Leatherman (4) also. I have a few Case knives coming and one SAK.
 
I consider Buck to be a local vendor even though it's plant is in Idaho. The local vendors here practically give their goodies away this time of year and it is hard to ignore the bargains. There is a prominent cutlery manufacturer, just down the street here, that holds an open factory sale this Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I want to go but might have to work even on Sunday so we shall see about ZTs. It is a good place to be and the Marine Toy Drive can be interfaced with there easily.

Leatherman is out at PDX.

I have seen folks talk about the Leatherman sales. I saw a "Kershaw guy" selling tons of Kershaw seconds (marked xxxx on blade) from Portland.
 
I've been to the LM factory a few times but don't know of any sales this time of year or any other time of year. They have a little store in front of the factory where you can buy stuff at full price and see the product line up close. It is about 25 miles from my homestead here in wonderland Pacific Rim where it is about 10 degrees F this fine morning.

Update: apparently the LM store is now @ Cascade Station, near PDX & Ikea, about a mile from where I find myself this brisk December morning. Lunch break visit perhaps. I have my camera (been trying for years to get an action shot of cool National Guard fighter jets @ 50 feet as they launch themselves at great speed just a stones throw from me now) and a online coupon for free stuff with $50 purchase. I'm pretty sure that I really do need more stuff. Yup.

Some of the web specials are gone. Ibex is and I think the Impala II is gone. (Should have bought more myself). Anyways if you're on the fence I would move since they are going.
 
Nope you can't, don't post sale item in open Buck forum. Go to sale area.
