New outdoor buddy coming home today!

Matt....he'll probably just lay around, until you decide to go outside to play.

you may be right. The pound said he's a lab mix and i thought maybe lab pointer but the more i look he's way to small to be much lab. He's a whopping 35lbs:D at 3 years old. Maybe a pit/lab/something. I'll get some better pics and maybe you guys can have a go at guessing what he is. All I know is he is absolutely great so far. Walks great on a leash, doing great with the cat and kid and currently is passed out in the middle of the living room.
 
Good looking dog. I am a fan of non traditional name for a dog so I suggest Steve.
 
Good looking pup,I'm sure in a day or two after you get to know each other better he'll do something unexpected or different and a name will pop up
...we should call him.......
