I've mentioned before in the forums that I am a firm believer in carrying your own best work. Fine materials and no "seconds" blades. I call it your three dimensional business card that you show people when they say, "You make knives? Can I see one?" You reach into the car and there it is. Makers say that they can't afford to carry their own knives. I say you can't afford not to.

My personal truck knife dates back and has a JS on it. I decided I needed one with an MS. This one might be a keeper.

Four bar mosaic W's pattern damascus. Blade is 7 5/8" with a total length of 12 3/4". Fittings are Turkish twist damascus and fileworked silicon bronze.

I think this is a fantastic knife. I really like the overall look. The steel and stag are both top notch, and I think the small embellishments look great.

Thats such a sweet knife! I wish I could make out the steel better because it looks awesome.

Sometimes I see a knife and mutter "man, that's nice" or "wow".
This is one of those times. Beautiful work.

That is just a terrific piece - I like everything about it.

Me, too!! Really a nice looking bowie. Awesome damascus. Great size to have along while out and about. No business card or brochure could match that. Best advertising you can have.

Super Bowie Terry.
Beautiful pattern, fit/finish/materials outstanding as usual.

I like your little notch you cut ahead of the clip. Think it's a
nice touch when maker's use a little subtle signature feature.
Such as your notch and Don Hanson's single gold pin.

I totally agree, Terry. In my business I can't afford to be seen riding a crappy or stock bike;). But really, if a guy I knew to make knives himself were to pull out a half baked blade, red flags would go up for sure or at least I would notice it.
It's really important to have the pride in yourself that comes with always doing the best job you can, I think. What better way to show it than the way you have done.

that reminds me that I really need to update mine, I've been carrying one of my very first blades for a while now.

beautiful piece sir,

:eek:Awesome knife Terry. Beautiful work!!

Awesome damascus and beautiful Stag!!

If I built knives, I certainly would do exactly what you did:thumbup:

Now that is a "truck knife". Best business card you could ever carry.

That one will be hard to hang on to, as I'm sure many that see it want to purchase it.

Thanks for sharing.
