It's still sensitive, but wrapped it up this weekend and took the mini-mauler out for a spin. Had some banana tree to chop down and slice up, and took a few limbs off a few other trees to brighten up the garden area.

Not like banana tree is hard to cut, but one swing is all it took to cut completely through the trunk.

Have to say the one handed grip is as good as it gets. Very comfortable and secure. Very sharp and well balanced too. I like everything about this knife. Makes me a little sad to say this, but I don't think my trusty Bark River Golok will be seeing much action from now on. And no, I'm not sending this one to you either Iboschi!!!

Here's the roach belly on kitchen duty. Chopped up the veggies for my spicy bbq sauce and prepped the babybacks.
