New Police G-10

Too cool for school, definitley on the snag list, just like about 85% of the new releases. I got to stop coming here, its just killing my finances! :)
 
Please Sal, dark blue scales on this one. And a dk blue Police/Rookie set would be outstanding.
 
Yeah, but he wants 155 for a stainless Police.

It'll probably be affordable, here in the states. When, oh when, can I expect these to be available? (or is this some cruel, sick joke where they're only available in Europe?)

Think it's more of a case of ACMA-Reus letting a cat out of its bag a bit early. ;) :D

As for cost, their prices in Euros tend to be pretty close to MSRP in dollars on other Spyderco knives. Assuming that's the case here, it would put MSRP at roughly $200, which would put street prices about equal to those for a G-10 Military and a few bucks more than a G-10 Endura. Not cheap, but not out of line either.

What is the blade length on this? If I read correctly and it is 11.10 cm then its 4.4"?
 
I just got back from the SHOT show where Sal, Kristi and Crew let me handle the G-10 Police. (Over and over again) It is awesome!!! The prototypes I held were flat ground, black handle, and had a 4 position clip (which is the part I like the best of all.)
 
Thanks for the SHOT show report. Good to hear about the prototype. I'm really glad the 4 position clip in in this design and will be getting one of these as soon as they are available for sale! My first Police was a left-handed stainless steel version (late 80's or early 90's) and I am happy there is lefty (or righty off-hand) friendly variant available again finally!!
 
Just got back from SHOT show and handled Spydie G-10 Police Prototype, it was sweet. Also checked out the catalog and Spyderco is coming out w/ 2 new LEO/Military ONLY side opening autos and a MIL/LEO only butterfly called the "Smallfly". It is black Matte fininsh spyderfly w/ 3" blade.
 
Ouch, must have one!
