Wtf there was a preorder ?? !! Any other items debuting ? Can't wait to get specs and an eta on this stuff!! Oh ... And a rat pack number :)

The laser Strike looks killer. But I'm much happier with 1095 then I've ever been with stainless.

Those both look amazing and I'd really like to try out the laZer strike. Just might have to get another ESEE4 while I'm at it. I assume the stainless 4 will have the same specs (other than maybe weight) as the regular 4?


For imaginary bonus points does anybody here actually know, without looking it up, what "laser" actually means?

I was going to do it and then you went and done it yourself.

There was also a MASER, Microwave Amplification by Simulated Emission of Radiation.
 
The stainless 4 looks nice, but I think I'll end up buying a 6 instead. But in my heart I know I'll get both eventually...
 
And I just made post on stripping black coating and wondering what it looked like, not less then 4 days later its a Prototype at SHOT. I call that fast on their feet!
 
The laser looks like a well thought out knife.

And the reason I didn't go to SHOT this year? Oh that's right. We had to re-roof the house last year, rub salt in the wound while you're at it!!! A stainless 4 in addition to the 3 folder...
I went to SHOT in 02, 08 and 10. If anyone ever has the chance to go, do it. It's truly an amazing experience for the gun/gear/outdoors type.
 
well i'm not new to knives, but i don't know a ton about them either. what would be the selling point on the laserstrike (other then it's BA and made by ESEE)? comparing the pictures it looks similar to the 4 in size and i'm guessing weight but shaped differently. would this knife be better suited for one job as apposed to another? thanks!

If I had to guess, based on the picture I'd say a little over 5" handle, 5"ish blade, maybe 1.25"ish wide, probably either 5/32" or 3/16" thick blade.


I have no idea. I'm just guessing.
