New Products for 2013

My focus is on mid size to larger size folders, and you only have 2 of those in your lineup. The 300 flipper is not that interesting to me, the 1000001 is interesting but whose bad idea was it to go away from a 3-digit model number.

I also like the 551-1301. I think optional G10 on the Griptilians and Barrages would be worthwhile additions.

Some of my other favorites are the 581 Barrage and the Ares, but my real favorite is the 913 Stryker which is not even available any more.

I thought the recent test video of the Axis lock in the 300 was awesome.

I know the Volli is supposed to be a replacement for the Warn, but with S30V and a thinner body I doubt it'll meet the same standards.
 
I agree with Jaiofspam about the Triage. The auto is a great idea, but unless there's a blunt tip its more of a commodity than a rescue tool.

I agree with this! a CF mini-grip would be great, or even just a G10 mini-grip, aftermarket "pimpers" have been doing this for years, why would benchmade not want that revenue in their hands?
 
As I've said, the Volli gets my attention and is a nice addition to the Barrage family.

THIS!!! I own a 812s-LH, and the only thing that could make the perfect knife (the mini-AFCK) better would be an Axis lock.

i honestly feel the 2 last GREAT benchmade knives to be released were the contego and adamas...
the new flipper isnt that aesthetically appealing to me although im sure its a great performer.

edit: +1000, i would like to see the afck AND skirmish series part of the normal production run as well... blue or black class please.

Don't be TOO disappointed, there are always new Limited's possible, as was last year's offerings from a couple of favorite online dealers...;)
 
I heard that a mini 581 was in the works...

I do hope more G10 Grips come out. How about a reg and a mini G10 Grip in uncoated M390? OH MY GOD! :eek:
 
I've been a knife geek for over 35 years and this may be my favorite knife ever.
There is nothing I don't like about it, including the color & shape of the scales.
The blade shape (belly) is sublime.

I think having one, or two more material & shape options, as far as the Griptilian line goes, would be profitable.
BENCHMADE ~ Have you seen what the European guys are charging for the custom Griptilian scales?
Americans are paying big coin to have them made and shipped over here.
I realize that the injection molded scales are easy and cheap, but if there's any way...
 
I'm liking that 300 AXIS® FLIPPER, but the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger are those handles. Just a personal preference of course, but I just don't like brown.

Also wasn't aware of this; custom Mini-Griptilian would be sweet, I've been eyeing the regulars for some time now.

I'm not usually a huge fan of Benchmade designs but I would love to hold this knife in hand because it looks amazing! What model is this and what is the price range?
 
I'll echo the production AFCK suggestion here. Sculpted G10 & 154CM. I'd buy two.I haven't handled it yet but I like the general idea of a flipper on a smooth axis lock knife too.
