Beautiful job on that hilt. I had a calcutta marked one that i had just long enough to make a copy of- I didn't bother with a pommel cap and the resulting hilt is much more comfortable.

As far as that beautiful 17 ouncer goes, I picked this one up a couple yrs. ago at a gun show for $30- twelve ounces, 1/4" thick and a wide fuller like a Gelbu. Most of the wartime private purchase khuks I've handled have been light and long and very sharp...
