New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

It definitely appears to be sand blasted...bead blasted would have a lighter color appearance:)

To me it looks like the titanium had an Oxy treatment done to it (soaking the metal in water and Oxy Clean for about an hour). I'm considering doing that to a ZT 0550 that I have to get the same affect.

The XM has certainly been media blasted. I'm still leaning towards SB.

Thanks gentlemen! It does appear to be sandblasted after all. I had a hard look at the "Blasted" thread, and the color and texture add up. Good to know.

I scored a fragmented full Ti scale for a Gen 3 XM-18 3.5" today! Looking forward to it.

Just purchased a fully ano'd bronze XM-18 3.5" last night. Should be delivered on Friday. (borrowed pics)

I hate you :D I went looking for it this morning and was going to buy it and it was sold :D Great score man!

Thank you Sir.

I just found a smooth stonewashed full Ti scale for my 3.5" but I think you may know that too. Lol...

Where did you get that??? :)
Ohio. ;)

This knife is bada$$...

Congratulations!
Thanks!
That was an auction site score, where I ended up sniping a sniper! I was the highest bidder, with my max bid $100 more. About 5 secs before the end, I clicked the one-click bid and bring up a pop-up window to up my max (just in case), and as I am doing that, the main screen refreshes and shows that I have been out-bid, so I quickly entered a higher bid (which was pure luck, the snipers max bid was few hundred higher than the current winning bid) and won!
