New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

^^^^^ That's what my knives want to be when they grow up. Lol.... ^^^^^

Another awesome display Chem.

Here we go...next on the to-do-list for this one is bronze Ti standoffs (ASAP; they hit the store, and they'll be in my cart).

Gen 4, bronze anodized/sand blasted ti, semi-sterile sw blade (Hinderer logo is present on the other side).

mm bulliet bourbon. I haven't had that in years!

Finally found a smooth CF scale for my 3" Slicer.

Oh, and I bought my first custom Hinderer...

Just picked up the 3" I had waiting for me at the local knife shop:

My first impression after carrying the 3.5" around for the past couple weeks is how petite it seems, I guess I didn't realize how much smaller it is.

Decided I don't really like the blue scale and mounted the Ti Frag I picked up the other day..

3" Spanto .

Yep, on first impression, especially after handling the 3.5 or 24, the 3" XM seems....tiny.

I just got the XM-24 last week and the XM-18 today!! I love them both. Beautiful, overbuilt built, and well thought out knives. I ordered skull filler tabs and had them waiting before I even recieved the knives. Next addition will be smooth CF scales for the pair.

That Titanium frag scale is absolutely amazing AZ2AK. I will be purchasing one as soon as they come out for gen 4!!!

I hope I'm in the right spot.

Hi guys, long time looker, first time post-er. Got my first XM in the mail yesterday from Rick and Rob, very happy with it, what a blade! I won't say better than a Sebenza, just different and I love it. Perhaps better than a Strider, I don't know yet. Of what I own and have fondled, the XM is Sebenza quality in a flipper.

I hope I did these photos right, i dont have permission to attach a photo just a URL. In the pics, you may can see a faint, brighter area in the steel close to the edge. Is that due to excessive heat when grinding the cutting edge? Or is that perfectly normal for an XM? I don't see it in any of my other knives. It will be my user and I don't want it to be more apt to chip, etc...

This is a fine spot to post for new knives or new members / contributors.

Your photos are not showing. Choose a host like photo bucket and use the code with IMG tags at either end.

If your user name applies to your occupation. Thank you, I have known many in the USCG and they are indeed a good bunch.

Thanks Need2Know, and yes I am. That is what I will be using the blade for :), and you are very welcome.

I fixed the photo, couldnt make it work on my ipad for some reason but went to the laptop and it was easy enough. Apologies for the quality of the pic, My Ipad's pics are very grainy but I think y'all can see the color change near the cutting edge grind. I hope it's alright, I'm sure it is, just checking.
