Wow that FXM is a knock out J81, too bad you have to "re home" it, but you will make someone very happy!

Cool daddy you have the pedal to the metal, your stable is amazing for a short timer. Very nice.
 
Thanks FO. I can't believe I am getting rid of it. It makes me sick a little bit after the long hunt. The one on the way will sooth the pain though. It's a friggin gem. Can't wait to share it with you guys. The amazing member who let it go afforded me a great opportunity and I am very grateful. :)
 
That's awesome Jensen, your gonna love that satin buddy. Cant wait to see ur pics. Thats one I need to get, a custom spanto, pref. An xm-24 ;). The spanto is the true staple IMO.

thanks for the kind words fellas. This steel flame stuff NEVER fails to just floor me. Its art upon art lol. I love the quality...now I'm after a dragon clip!! Wish me luck! Haha.

Dprichard - love that darkness clip, it was a hard choice between that and the cross I got.
 
Picked up my first Hinderer tonight, a Gen 4 3.5" spanto with FDE scale. Once I get it, I will shoot some glamour shots...

Thanks, I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I can take a hint...sometimes. My ability has improved since I got married last year!
 
^Looks great. That's the exact same setup I have on my slicer. The only difference is mine is a sterile, and you are better at tying lanyards. :)
 
I had an XM-18 3.5 spanto earlier this year and traded it. This is the one knife that I've let go that I had to get into my pocket again. This one came out of Rick's shop about a month ago, carried and passed to me. I wish it was a slicer, but I'm happy.

My DLC Lottery Knife showed up today. This is my first new Hinderer as my others were all bought here used. Can't thank Hinderer enough for giving me the great deal on this one. Love these things.

Just have to say, I put the blue standoffs and pivot screw ahead of getting the handle screws and think it looks pretty nice. Like others have said, the pivot coming through the lock side looks cool. I would love to get a blue lbs;), please. As much as I like the brass standoffs (thanks again kwazyjuice), these blue really look good. I am anticipating that shipping notification and subsequent delivery and installation of the blue handle screws that much more. It's the little things in life that make it what it is.

OK. After a long hunt and a little bit of a USPS fiasco I finally got my grail in hand. Im very excited about it. What a great knife. Rick really did a nice job on this one. For those of you who havent had an opportunity to hold an FXM its the same size as an XM-18 (3.5) but with thicker blade, custom grind, and grippy G-10 on both sides. Sweet! Sorry for the crappy pics but its the best I could do tonight. Ill post some better pics tomorrow morning of her next to big bro. :)
