New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

First Hinderer haul in a while. Both of these bad boys came in yesterday. LOVE the XM-24. Flashpoint is a nasty little blade. Can't wait till this wedding's over so I can play her more often :D The seller advertised the XM-24 as "like new in box" but wow, what a dirty nasty knife. Had so much gunk everywhere. Cleaned up nicely though :)

Ok.. I went from anticipation to panic to anticipation and finally received my Wharncliffe! Here are some pics.


And a shot of my small "Herd":


Very pleased with the Wharnie! Now I just need to get one of you fine members of this community to trade a scale with me:)

Nice David! The -24 dwarfs the Flashpoint, eh? It must make for a nice compact little hideaway. I used to carry a neck knife quite a bit, looks like it would suit that role quite well.

Awesome! Glad it finally showed up for you, talk about relief! I like that dark green scale on there, looks good.
 
I just scored a textured carbon fiber scale. I decided to throw it on my 3.5" non-flipper spanto. I gave it a bronzed theme with stand offs, lbs, scale screws, pivot, clip, and filler tab. Stropped the edge a bit and snapped some quick pics....

MRaymond, Nice bro!! Glad you got the wharnie in your possession now :) Those things are wicked, aren't they!!! I think that dark green looks good on it :D Great photos too man
 
dtm - love the bronze! My favorite accent color I think (that's ok to say since I'm talking about knives right?!)...
 
Thanks guys. AZ2AK....I'd reserve that phrase for knives only. LOL. I'm stuck with all bronzed set ups until I can find a blue pivot. Arrghh. I have all but the dreaded pivot. The search continues.....

I hear ya, I'm poor on bronze pivots myself :)
 
Very nice additions guys. DTM, I'm partial yo the bronze myself. That's a great setup. I need the pivot, scale screws, and pocket clip myself. It will all come together eventually.
 
that black flashpoint is just SICK! I never thought DLC would do THAT much IMHO for that little blade. wow, I really REALLY want one haha

I did put the brass on the Wharnie. I've been contemplating a brass lbs as well. I will eventually put the text cf on too if I can make my sig come to fruition.
