New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

Thanks Kwazy! It's slowly comin' together. Next'll be either a different scale and lbs, or a skull filler tab. I've got plans for the skull tab, but I'll never be able to post lock bar side pics here anymore.

^ Why not? The skull filler tabs are sold by Hinderer so your good to post pics of that. It's not an "illegal mod".

Thanks! Ive never had a anodized frame before. It feels bead blasted then ano'd, which looks and feels really cool.

My new Battleship Grey scale arrived today. Love the color of this thing changes so much depending on the lighting.

Thanks, I think I might go all bronze on this one.

On that note, anyone with a Ti pivot find it difficult to 'micro' adjust the pivot tightness? Didn't know if the Ti galled against the female side making it hard to adjust?

Did you check out the threads on the pivot? Also maybe there is some loc tite in the threads of the female...

Acak try putting a little Teflon tape on the threads. It works great! If you decide to go the loctite route stick to the low strength purple stuff and use it sparingly.

This thread may help.

Haven't gotten one yet but just asking before I get one. The SS pivot is so easy to micro adjust and didn't know if the Ti against SS would cause galling that would make it hard to micro adjust. Thanks for the info though. Lots of that here.

ACAK, I found that it is just as easy to make micro adjustments with the anodized pivot as the SS. I use purple loctite on my pivots and it works really well.
