New/Recent Hinderer Scores Thread...a place to share and comment.

I got this cool old flashpoint in the mail today. It shows its years but I love a knife with character. It will be a good little fixed blade concealed carry option.

Kickass score Jensen!! Those custom Flashpoints are something to experience bro! Congrats! Now go chop some trees with it!! ;)

^^^Very nice. Love that scale too.

Thank you. I wasn't too sure about the scales when I first saw them to tell you the truth. They grew in my pretty quickly. They are very unique. I don't think I've ever seen another rhk with that color combo. I kind of have a thing for rare and/or unique scales. :)

Glad to see some Florida folks representing at Blade. It's practically in our back yard!! Great knife Jensen!!

Congratulations Brian!! The slicer grind is my favorite when I'm carrying it. As with every other hinderer I own. Funny how that works... How are you going to dress it up?

Thanks, nice WF spear point Chris. It's in pretty good shape save the pocket clip needs to be adjusted. It's been bent back to loosen it up and doesn't touch the scale. It's got a stronger detent than my spanto too. The pivot seems to be loc-tite pretty good and it's on the very loose side where the blade favors the g-10 side. All fixable with some adjustment so not worried.

Will probably put the smooth CF on this one, we'll see.

It is funny how each Hinderer is different. My Spanto has a beveled pivot (the outside edge of the pivot has been chamfered) the slicer has more of a squared off pivot with a slight chamfer (if you go to page 139 of the picture thread and look at Ross's picture of the four showing the lock side you'll see exactly what I mean. My spanto is like the blue one on the left and my slicer is like the regular stonewashed one at the top). The slicers scales are also a little more rounded on the edges and the gimping. Both have the domed thumb studs. After I fix it up I'm sure it will be great.

And once again, Chris, that spear point is great. That will be a perfect EDC.

I've been a bit too tied up lately to post much, congrats on that one Jensen! I like the scale, you're right it does have a unique quality to it.

I'm going to switch out the scale with either a rough CF or a green/black scale. Not a huge fan of the plain black scale on it.

Nice WF Chris! ;) I'm not a huge fan of plain black either, probably why I have a drawer full of them that I pulled off of other XMs...

I think the textured cf will look badass!! It will compliment the WF perfectly!!

^^^ Agree, I have a textured CF on my WF deep swedge spearpoint. Although, frag scales also really compliment the WF very well.
