I love that the Eklipse design keeps the flipper and loses (significantly reduces) the choil (from finger to sharpening type).

Micheal.....I totally agree with you.....the design is awesome.....Rick has also significantly reduced the weight as he has milled out spots in both the scale and the lockside.
And yes, I am very fortunate to have scored it.....I have been telling myself that since I fired off the PayPal email......and even more so now that I've gotten to hold it and play with it. It really is a spectacular evolution on the XM from Rick.

Hey Ross is there a significant weight difference from the Eklipse and the 3.5 Xm-18?

Chris....there is a big, immediately noticeable weight difference between a full titanium XM and the Eklipse.
If I had to guess (no scale) I would say that the Eklipse is slightly lighter than a 3.5 with a G-10 scale.
If you're interested, I can take a few shots of it disassembled so you can see what Rick milled out....
