New Recurve, Camp, Tactical, Field... :-)

If the knife is still available I would be interested in buying the knife.
Thanks,
Michael

I'll take it if it's not taken!

This is perfect! But if you do plan on doing a 3V run I will wait for that. honestly this hits the spot real well.

Thanks so much for all of the kind words and wisdom... I am still trying to ready through everything, I will ping those of you that listed out some use case details and such for me.

This particular knife is sold... I am getting quotes on having more jet out and will get in touch with those of you that requested to purchase one.

If anyone else would like to be contacted about this model in the future please post here or ping me at landijohn@gmail.com

Thanks again, John Landi

This is a new model that was jet out over a year ago.
That's one pretty knife, John!

I am going to do two runs, trying to get them out for December... One in A2 and one in 154CM.
Do you know what you are going to use for the handles on the "production" model? I see at least one person stated a preference for micarta, but that CF is mighty nice looking. ;)

Mike, that is a good question... thanks!

I plan on making these handles by hand, in my shop. So, the sky in the limit on synthetics, I may even try a couple/few in hardwoods to see what they look like.

This model will be hand ground and hand finished by me as well... so the only level of "automation" will be the water jet.

Thanks again, John.

John - this is the nicest knife I have seen you post on Bladeforums. I would be interested in hearing what steels you like to work in just to see what the options are - if any, of a different blade steel. Love the carbon fiber. I will definately be getting in touch with you concerning this knife.
edit: just saw post 29 - CPM S3V!!!

Steve - Short term - A2 and 154CM, others to follow with all/some of my models...

But, just to make an observation, I get requests for CPM S3V more than others, outside of the steels I already use. I do want to work through a run of it, but, probably on one of my smaller knives, just to see how it grinds and finishes.

Thanks for kind words on the new model!

John Landi
