I was kind of wondering about that myself. Have my doubts though. The original machaxes, etc still go for a quite a bit.
 
Interesting info here. Quick question (sorry for my ignorance)... Will these be made by ka-bar or blackjack?

Also, very interesting that Ethan said that they will also be revisiting the bk11. The bk14 replaced my bk11 because I find the handle more compfortable but maybe that will change.

Has Ethan givin any inkling to when we will see this beautiful beast? I want a chopper and I was about to pull the trigger on a 9 and saw this.
 
It says in the video. Yes, by Christmas, but probably at SHOT Show in January.

Go ahead and pull the trigger. You can't chop with one of these until Christmas or later. So you need the 9 to have something with which to chop between now and then. You know you need a 9. :D:D:D

He says in the video. December or January is when they expect them...but sometimes things don't always work out as planned. The BK10 came out way late. You have six months, buy the 9 now and get the RBK when they come out. You can't not have a 9.
 
I've already got a 4 and a nine , plus a cold steel ghurka kukri plus . Knowing me though I'll still end up buying one of these becker kukris though

When we spoke to Ethan at Blade, he said it would be available at Shot Show. And like other have said, I would get a 9 in the meantime.

Sounds like it will be even better than the original version. And the original was pretty sweet.

So the Original was only about 1/8th thick, and it was a great blade, but light for a kukri. The new one its gonna be thicker, and with the same grind as the 9, which we know works like a champ.
Add to that the laser etch, so no stress risers at a stamped logo, and the newer style handles and tang and this thing is going to hit like a truck and handle like a sports car. I am really really excited about it.
 
i kinda want a Becker Seki City edition :D

This thing can probably sever a limb with ease. And I'm not talking on a tree.
