Don't want to get in trouble so won't state names but one of the new well known Buck "custom" stores has a Buck 110 sheepsfoot out now for under $60. Not sure I like the blade shape though since it's not what I think of a sheepsfoot, theirs looks more like a spearpoint to me.

I'm on the fence about it for now......

Not sure I'd call that a sheepsfoot. Interesting idea though

Thanks for posting the pic! I'm not too tech savvy.

Good to know I'm not the only one who doesn't see that as a sheepsfoot. I would be all over it if it were!
Looks like a std blade ground to a spearpoint and so, also shorter than it should be.

Here is another picture. It's definitely different, I'll need to let it sink in a little longer.

I don't care for it... I won't be buying one...
Well I wanted to buy one until I saw a picture...

Buckshack's looks a bit more like a sheepsfoot, but still not there in my mind.

Buckshack, could you please measure the blade and let us know how it compares in length to a std 110?
Their site says it's 1/2 shorter than a normal 110 if I read it right (3.25 vs 3.75).
If that is right seems like a lot of room left in the handle for that "missing" blade length.

Oh, it's not mine. I got the picture from the internet. It does look quite a bit shorter in this picture though. (Kind of reminds me of the shorter blade in a 302)

Thanks for another pic!

Sadly, it looks like they ground down std blades rather than having a correct one made.
I'll be passing on this (or will grind down a user I already have).

Now, I DO want a sheepsfoot 110 though :-)

That just looks like somebody broke the tip off of their 110 and tried to fix it.

The blade shape in post 3 looks to be a spear point. The blade shape in post 7 looks closer to a sheep's foot. Then in post 12 the blade looks real short. Like it was ground down. I don't know if these photos are of the same knife. But I doubt Buck would make something like this. Thanks gents for the photos. DM

I think they used the drop point blade for this, the nail nick is parallel to the top of the blade.

I agree with spear point the nail nick is in the proper spot. I'm looking at the other USA knife makers blade I.d. chart and it matches perfectly to the spear blade. This is in reference to post #3.

I'm going to agree with DM. I just checked Buck web site this blade doesn't show up any where? Especially on a 110 even in the Custom shop. Unless there is a secret page?
