New sheepsfoot Buck 110

This vendor has Buck make a bunch of unique knives for them to sell. Example 5160 blade knives you won't see on Buck's website. I think they are a BF member, we can probably say their name. How do I confirm?

The pictures in post 3 and 12 came from their ebay page, post 7 came from their facebook/instagram pages. Same knife.

Oh, it's not mine. I got the picture from the internet.

Quite an astounding mismatch.
Going by looks alone, its an acquired taste....

BuckShack; I do believe if you don't give a web site or price you should be able to say their name. So there is a secret page!HA!

Like I said in an earlier post if you look in the other old USA made manuf. blade I.D. it matches what they call a "Spear Blade" exactly, not the either or. It's like they took the picture and said make this.

I have one that someone broke and ground down and it looks just like that. I bought it because it was $4 and it had real nice wood (1985)and I planned on sending it in to buck for a new blade. I guess the previous owner was ahead of the times. It is pretty handy for cutting rough stuff.

Buck Shack, I'm 99.9% naming the identity of the retailers selling an SFO variant is not considered to be deal spotting. We discuss the SFOs for Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, Walmark, Smoky Mountain Knife Works, SK Knives just to name a few.

That has to be the ugliest rendition I have ever seen. I am not certain what they were thinking. In order to make a sheepfoot you would need a blade with no belly. Then you could drop the point down to meet the straight edge. This, rather, looks like they took a stock saber ground spear point and tried to grind down the tip and of course, this would not work, ever.

Jack, you are funny and have a valid point. That blade would look better in the 112 frame.
Wonder why this company did Not announce this offering on Blade Forums as they have their others? DM

I was really excited when I got the email about this knife this morning... then I saw the picture.
I was hoping they would stick to the traditional sheepsfoot blade (even Buck slipjoints have true sheepsfoot blades).
It's kind of crude, but this is more what I was thinking:

Where did you get that picture?

Is it photo-shopped?

Your picture certainly is not what is being advertised and sold by copperandclad.

I'll bet you that the blade had to be shorter in order for the blade to close down into the blade well otherwise it would hit the inside of the bolster wrong. In the rendering of the one that Macchina shows the blade being straight edged would not close into the bottom of the 110 frame. They would have to remove the lockback feature and make it a slipblade with not lockback notch,
