Set your DVR's! Someone has probably mentioned it or posted on it already, but thought I'd augment their efforts.

I'm excited to see him back on the air, though this show sounds a bit different and every bit as interesting as Survivorman.

By the way, my Wife overheard the fella in "Man, Woman, Wild" saying "baby" or "sweetie" at least 40+ times during the course of the Northern Mexico episode, and suggested that one could make a heck of a beer drinking game out of it. Just food for thought.

I was so excited to see the commercial for it that it somehow stunned my brain's ability to operate the search function :).

One of the things I like about the show. Lends credibility for me since I talk to my wife essentially the same way.

That preview looked great, I can't wait to see the show! I can't believe I haden't heard about his new show before?!

I too am very excited to have Les back. Less gimmicky and more interesting to me. Just like his style and to see him with natives will be very cool.

Looks like he is taking a page out of Ray Mear's book (the visit indigenous tribes to learn bush skills page). Proven strategy, produces great material, looking forward to it

I thought it was pretty good, but if you have ever watched Ray Mears, you can't help to compare the show to what Ray has done many times before. I still far prefer Ray. He doesn't try to dramatize everything like Les. Les would lead you to believe that everything is extremely dangerous. I especially realized that when Les was in the Utah desert, which is an area I'm very familiar with. A lot of what Les had to say was extemely exaggerated, obviously to dramatize it. Whereas, Ray Mears did a show in Cochise County, AZ (where I live) and it was extremely accurate. No drama, but still very interesting.

I liked it. I don't thinki that I will be gently blowning on a wild bee hive and reaching in with my hand. I will have to research that one. I found it interesting that the hawk got Lots of showing. Interesting way to carry it, slung over the shoulder with no cover over the blade. Then again, it was ready to come down quickly during an attack. Don't remember any knife shown. So, hawk was king.

Easy on that dang beetleroot!

I really liked it. Little bit dramatic at times, but hey, aren't all of them a bit?
