New Spyderco Bug necklace knife?

Those look like cool little knives. It would be unusual to see something like that show up on ebay and never be on Spyderco.com.

edited to completely change the context of my comment and make me look cool.

I'd say that if it's not on Spyderco's website (where all the current and discontinued knives are listed), it's a fake.

Edit: upon further review they look very fake. If you want a real version of those, get a stainless handled ladybug and run a necklace thru it.

Well, Spydieguys just said it's a legitimate surprise over on the Spyderco forum. For a dealer with their reputation, I'd be inclined to believe its legit. I've got one coming my way, I'll give ya a review when it gets here.

I'm keep my fingers crossed its real. Nothing from Spyderco's own forums?

Hopefully Mr. Glesser or one of the folks from Golden can shed light on this soon.

I kinda want one. :D

steelscout30, jump over to the Spyderco company website forum, in a thread there, (linked to a German forum) Sal makes reference to this knife. hope that helps.

Huh, those are cool. Spydie guys is a legit bunch I think that the bugs have to be real. The spyderco logo is trademarked and if they were using it with out Sals ok they would open up for a law suit for sure.

It wouldn't be the smallest. The Mini Police necklace/tiepin is much smaller.

They are legitimate, a little surprise if you will. We announced them to our Dealers/Distributors on January 1st and we have them here at SHOT Show.

They are little, but just as sharp as any other Spyderco. ;)

Ok I have to get 10 of these. This is the ultimate self defense weapon (against unopened letters and string).
