New Subaru guy introduction

Nice car Donzo and welcome to another addicting hobby. I've got an ej257'd forester myself. You should add a mod list to your pictures.

Welcome to BFC, Donzo. There's a lot to learn and share here.

Nice ride!

I still have my 04 WRX. She will still bring a smile to my face.

Damn Subaru's. Overrated if you ask me...

:D

Sadly, the STi is the wifes :(

None of the ones I've driven have been remotely fast, but they all handle pretty well. I don't know if its the AWD that causes the "on rails" feel in turning.

The Boxer engine puts the center of gravity closer to the ground where it belongs..

Mr. Clean, That's a gorgeous wife you have!

'08 WRX 5-door here :D

Bought a 2011 Outback in October. It has been excellent so far. Handles great on slick roads and getting 26 mpg. Only one road trip this winter, but it fit 5 dudes with minimal complaining.

I'm thinking about getting a Subaru to carry around in the back of my Suburban. Sort of an EDC spare vehicle, you know. Good stuff.

Subaru convert here. My Legacy is like a Sherman tank in the New England snow, and that's just the icing on the cake. I love everything else about the car too, but just for the peace of mind in bad weather, my next car will be a Subaru as well.

I'm #43 on NASIOC and own a 99 RS RBP currently in storage after my turbo set-up fell apart. If it weren't for my current knife obsession, I'd be at least 1/3 of the way to an STI swap :)

#43???????? Wow... when did you join? '99? lol

You're considered a dinosaur compared to the other 200k+ other members. I joined in '05 and got in before the 100k member mark and people consider me "OG". lol

Is that complicated on a left hand drive car? Or is it a straight swop from a Version 5/6 STI?

Mine in the show last winter:

And this is what happens when a drunk runs you off the road in the middle of the night:

Not a scratch on the car, just a broken wheel... that little incident made my wallet very sad.

And since this is a knife forum:

I love my 08 WRX with a Cobb Tuning access point at Stage 1 tune and SPT exhaust with better Hawk brake pads to slow me down!!!!!

I had a '68 Subaru FF-1 Star, then a 72 GL Coupe (kept 11 years). Yes, I was there in their earlier days :)
