I mentioned this earlier but it got kinda lost in my excitement about a possible Spyderco section. For your consideration it would be nice to have a sub forum for fakes/knock-offs and the like. Perhaps in the GB&U area.
I have reported close to 100 fake Spyderco's, Benchmades, Bucks and others over the last year or so on an auction site. I have saved all of them in my watch list and seen most, if not all go to auction end with multiple bids.
It has occurred to me that Ebay is way too big, too busy or cannot handle in influx of all the junk being passed off as the real thing. It would be nice if people were more informed so perhaps they would be more educated before they hit that bid/buy button.
I realize that a lot of the members here are more educated and would not be taken by these scams but we were all new members at one time.
To me there is nothing worse than someone selling trash and using {insert your brand here} the blood, sweat and tears of good hard working knife companies who have put love and thought into a good design.
Enough of my ramble. You get the point.

I'm opposed to any sort of manufacturer specific forum. It would be difficult to moderate every manufacturers FS forum, the exception being the Buck and Busse forums. Once Spyderco gets a forum it will only be a matter of time before members start requesting every other manufacturer as well. Too much to handle.

We discussed possible firearms specific selling/trading forums a few weeks ago...back then it was 5-6 threads on the 1st page of Gear for Sale.
Currently there's 9 or 10 firearms related gear threads....out of the 25 threads on the first page.

Why the exception for the Busse and Buck forums? Just because they already exist?
Busse, I maybe understand just a teeny tiny bit, but Buck? You can't get much more pedestrian than Buck. That's not a knock on Buck, just a fair assessment of their vast customer base.
