New to me Chinese Bows this month

Got back into archery due to the 2013 mass shooting and panic buying and pending ban legislation.

Ammo and everything was super expensive or impossible to buy.

In Cali it seemed imminent they were going to come take our semi auto guns and ban bullets.

Bows are ok so far and arrows are reusable.

Plus it is just a whole lot of fun as well as all the functional side. Gun or bow, I have to say I can spend the day at the range either way and be perfectly happy. Though with the bow I won't be AS happy the next day. My back stiffens up horribly after a day shooting (even with LOTS of resting thrown in these days too) I have been watching the build a bow with a kuk thread and start feeling the urge to get a bow and get on the range again. Only have a couple of crossbows in shooting condition right now. My old Ben Pearson takedown I would be scared to restring. All the epoxy is clouded and probably brittle as heck.

I d be cautious too.

This year we've had bad batches of Gordon clear glass that would streak and create bubbles and weak areas because it wouldn't properly bond or set with the glue.
Had a bow literally fall apart on me because of that.

too humid and hot for the glass to setup correctly? Sounds dangerous, I am glad I checked the bow out instead of handing hubby my beer and saying "Hey, Watch this" LOL

Several variables for me to speculate on.

The bowyer believes it to be manufacturing flaws by Gordon.

Heat is not good for the bows so I try not to leave it in the car, and humidity would be a factor if it was horn and tendon
